- In the everlasting Triune God.
- That he created humanity and individuals in his image for and out of love for the purpose of loving relationship.
- That creation, human existence, and knowledge can only be properly understood through a lens of relationship.
- That the Scriptures are God's unique written word to us and for us and are made alive by his Holy Spirit
- That all creation chooses “self" over relationship and lives in shame, which is death -- the death of relationships and the death of self.
- That sin is anything that violates love and relationship; and that it always leads to shame.
- That shame necessitates forgiveness and that forgiveness requires death
- That Jesus is the Eternal Son and the Living Word of God; conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; was sinless; was crucified by Pontus Pilot for the sins of creation and that He rose bodily from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- That the primary metaphor to understand his death is efficacious substitutionary atonement.
- That the cross created a moment in eternity where the perfect, loving, Triune relationship was forsaken and destroyed by the shame of the world which was absorbed and metastasized by Jesus.
- That because of his resurrection, true life is possible but not mandated for all creation and is found only in the furrow of death.
- That the Church is the bride of Christ and his physical body on earth indwelt by the Spirit of God
- That creation is on a journey of discovery of resurrection life offered in Christ.
- That one day, all things will be restored and creation will itself be resurrected and given new life.
